Fees for Weekend / 2 day Cooking Courses
After 6pm on evening of arrival to approx. 3pm on day of departure.
Please note accommodation, tuition and all meals included, except meal on evening of arrival. Fees for a cooking guest include a Cookaway Apron to take home.

Fees for One Day mid-week Cooking Courses
Intended for groups of 10-12 friends / colleagues.
From 9am for 9.30am start to approx. 3pm. The day includes the preparation
of a delicious lunch, bread making or pasta making from scratch.

"Wine Tasting for Easter Entertaining "
The course in March includes a demonstration and talk on Saturday 8th by
Tom Innes, (Diploma in Wines & Spirits) of Irma Fingal Rock, Monmouth - Wine Merchant
of the Year for Wales 2003.

The course in April includes - on Saturday 19th April - a demonstration and talk
on cuts of lamb by a traditional butcher, Duncan Wills of Le Gourmet, Monmouth.

Enjoy a weekend away in lovely Herefordshire while improving your cooking skills using seasonal local ingredients. This course also includes a guided tour around the gardens, which have recently been opened to the public.

“Using the Fruits of Herefordshire”

Enjoy an al fresco lunch including local Strawberries and Cream. Make Bread and
Home-made Ice Cream, and, after tea, have a guided farm tour to see the Cows.

AUTUMN 08

"Enjoy an Autumn Weekend in Herefordshire"

Cook, using the abundance of fresh produce that is available at this time of the year.
The Break includes a short visit to Broome Farm, Peterstow, on Saturday 11th at 4.30pm for the tasting of traditional cider with Mike Johnson. Transport provided.

Join us on this very popular Festive pre-Christmas Break, to give you ideas
for planning your own Christmas cooking or entertaining at home.

To make your weekend complete there will be mulled wine, Christmas Decorations,
Crackers, and Carols in the background - but we can't promise Snow!


Group Bookings for a 2 Day Break
Have a Cookaway Food Break for yourselves - book together as a group of 12 to 18,
to include 10 cooks, room sharing. It may also be necessary to accommodate some guests in the 1 bedroom holiday cottage, adjacent to the Barn, and local comfortable B&B.

Eat out together on evening of arrival for all Courses
If you wish a seat can be reserved for you on a communal table, for 8pm, at a local inn (7 miles away) serving good food - cost not included in course fee. Mini-bus available.

Children
Interested children over 14 years of age can take part in a Cookaway Food Break, but they must be accompanied by an adult and be happy to join in the evening meal.
